Terms and Conditions

  1. Carchief.com reserves the right to update/modify the Terms & Conditions (T&C) at any time without prior notice.
  2. Site users must adhere to the T&C of Carchief.com when using the site. By accessing or using Carchief.com, you hereby agree to and are bound to our T&C, inclusive of any future modifications, upgrades, additions to the site. Please exit the site if you do not wish to agree to our T&C.
  3. Users shall not attempt to use the Carchief.com site, its logo, or any of its content for fraudulent or unauthorized activities, and shall refrain from attempting to gain unauthorized access to Carchief.com's services, servers, network or systems through any means, including hacking, password mining, etc.
  4. You may not, without authorization from Carchief.com, copy/reproduce/publish/modify/display or in any other ways exploit part or all of Carchief.com's content, logos, site, or creative content (includes pictures, posters, banners, etc).
  5. Carchief.com is not liable for any false information, or payments provided by or to individuals who are not authorized by Carchief.com. Users assume all liability for erroneously filled order forms and payments.

    Limitation of Liability

  1. Information shown or provided by Carchief.com is accurate to the best of our ability. Carchief.com will not be liable if information does not match exactly to the mentioned product or services.
  2. Carchief.com is not liable for any delays which may occur on orders/purchases. While our team will strive to ensure that deliveries occur in a timely manner to the best of our ability, external forces, such as inclement weather or unforeseen delays may occur. Delivery period is an indication of estimated time for which a vehicle may take to be delivered, Carchief is not liable for any delays.
  3. Purchasers are solely liable for all payments/transactions, Carchief.com holds no liability for fraudulent activity which may result in payments to the wrong account or purchaser error when filling out details.
  4. Carchief.com is not liable for any delays/disruptions in service or availability due to acts of nature, Internet or system failures, power failures, riots, wars, acts of terrorism, governmental or legislative action, civil disruptions, or non-performance of third parties.
  5. Carchief.com reserves the right to cancel or report any transactions which are suspect of being fraudulent or illegal at any time without prior written or verbal notice.
  6. Carchief.com is not liable for refunds, partial or full, under any circumstances against orders/purchases made unless such a warranty is provided prior by an authorized Carchief.com representative.
  7. Carchief.com is not liable for theft or loss of customer information which may have been provided to Carchief.com. We will strive to ensure the utmost data security to the best of our ability.
  8. Carchief.com is not liable for the theft of minor items, such as carpets, cigarette lighter, stereo, while Goods are in Transit. Customers must understand that such situations occur and are outside the control of Carchief.com.
  9. Fast Deals

  10. Delivery of vehicles marked as "Fast Deals" are expected to take up to 7 working days for delivery to the border selected by the purchaser. Unforeseen delays due to weather, equipment failure, non performance by third party vendors, may occur. Carchief is not liable for such delays.
  11. Price Guarantee on Transport and Clearing

  12. Upon purchase of a vehicle, if the purchaser/buyer can produce a better quote for the vehicle clearing and transport than what was paid to Carchief for these services, Carchief will refund the difference. Claim only valid if the following criteria are met:
    1. Quotation from a registered company providing vehicle clearing and/or transport services to the public, which has been in operation for more than 2 years.
    2. Carchief must be able to verify the authenticity of the quotation from the relevant service vendor.
    3. Customer must produce the quotation within 7 working days of vehicle delivery. Quotations for vehicles delivered more than 7 working days ago will not be accepted.
    4. Quotation must be for the same vehicle model as what was delivered to the customer.
    5. Refunds will only be granted for the particular service the quotation is for, for example, if quotation is only for clearing, then Carchief will only refund the difference for the clearing charges, and not the total Clearing and Transport charges.
    6. If all above criteria are met, Carchief will inform the customer regarding the validity of the claim and then process the claim within 14 days, via Telegraphic or electronic bank transfer.

    Insurance

  13. Purchasers/buyers will only be eligible for insurance if it has been selected during the order process. If insurance has not been selected, then purchaser/buyer can't not claim for the vehicle if in case the vehicle becomes eligible for such a claim.
  14. Insurance, if selected, covers the following:
    1. Accident damages considered major during transport through Land or Sea transport, maximum claim of 80% of vehicle value.
      1. Only valid if transport is conducted by Carchief or one of its partners, not valid if transport is conducted by purchaser/buyer.
    2. Theft or destruction of the vehicle during the process of Goods in Transit, maximum claim of 80% of vehicle value.
  15. Carchief will not be liable for:
    1. Any interior damages deemed to be minor and/or invisible damages, including cigarette burns, stains, cuts or tears.
    2. Any exterior damages deemed to be minor and/or invisible damages, including scratches, minors dents, holes and minor rust.
    3. Any consumables, such as battery, oil, fuel, air conditioning gas, transmission fluid, etc.
  16. Claims are not applicable for vehicles valued below $1,500 US dollars or any damages which can be repaired within $300 US dollar:
    1. Customer shall bear all minor repairs less than $300 US dollars.
    2. Quotations for repairs must be made from a registered and reputed vehicle repair company.
  17. Claims cannot be made for minor items which may be stolen while Goods are in Transit. This includes, and not limited to, carpets, stereo system, cigarette lighters, etc.
  18. All claims must be filed (by email) within 14 days of receiving of the vehicle:
    1. Date of receiving vehicle based on the arrival of the vehicle at its final delivery destination, as per the terms of the order.

    Certification

  19. While Carchief.com offers customers the ability to select whether or not they wish us to provide a certificate for their purchased vehicle, all responsibility of understanding end country's regulations is born by the customer. Carchief.com is not liable if the vehicle is transported to the selected border and customer is unable to bring in the vehicle due to lack of certificate. Please check with your relevant authorities prior to purchase.
